If you are trying to ‘get people'; you are running your business incorrectly. Plain and simple. There is a much better way.

Have you ever walked up to someone you didn’t know and star talking to them about your opportunity? How about a friend or family member? If that say ‘no’, that’s fine, but when you keep pressing and keep chasing; that’s when it becomes an issue – they WILL start to run. They will find any and every excuse to get a way from you and avoid your phone calls. I know this because I did the same thing in the beginning.

MLM Sponsoring – Your Goal

Your goal goal, when trying to sponsor someone is 3-fold.

1) You want to create a situation/connection with someone that creates intrigue/question/desire. You want this person (prospect) to ask you about you, your business, your products/services, or simply about you.

2) Share a company tool with them. This is a company video, website, convention, meeting, pamphlet, brochure, sample…etc. Anything that the company has put together for you to use. Remember, “let the tools do the talking”. Your company has spent thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars creating your tools for you use. So use them!

3) If they join, great! If they don’t, great! Don’t get deflated if someone doesn’t buy/join. So what. There are 7 billion people on this planet, do you think there are more people out there who want exactly what you have? Of course there are! Simply move on!

Position can be a very powerful tool. For example; You ask someone to join your business vs. they ask you to join your business. See the difference? It’s massive.

I tried to be the hunter in the very beginning. I chased friends, chased family members, and the occasional colleagues at work. Very few joined, even fewer remained after the first 3 months. I was chasing – that was the problem.

My questions were answered and my problems were solved when I learned the attraction marketing principle.

    I believe in FISHING for prospects, NOT chasing them. Chasing prospects usually ends up with you getting rejected.
